The wait is finally over! As the new year of 2025 kicks off, Nepal Warrior Championship returns with a spectacular event to set the tone for Nepalese MMA, this year, at a completely new venue. NWC 5: ROADHOUSE, happening at The Pump, Gyan Mandala, Jhamsikhel is just weeks away and the stakes could not be higher for fighters on January 25, 2025. With 10 thrilling matchups, including 8 amateur fights, 1 semi-pro bout, and the highly anticipated professional main event, this night will be packed with intensity and passion. Each fight tells a story of resilience and determination, as many fighters look to extend their undefeated streaks while others are hungry for redemption.

The 8 amateur fights are filled with fighters who have taken part in The Warrior Series and their determination and hard work has put them in the big stage. Among these fights also lies a battle between the flyweight winners of the first and second series Jenit Sherchan and Kritim Shrestha, representing Pokhara and Kathmandu, respectively. Sagar Pariyar, winner of the featherweight category from Warrior series 2, also takes part in an highly anticipated bout against a ferocious fighter Sonam Wangchuk. 

The co-main event will be a semi-pro bout, the first of its kind in NWC, taking place between the fan favorite Rahul Thakuri and Kapil Gupta from India. This semi-pro bout promises more rounds and no shin guards, ramping up the intensity.

The main event, a professional showdown, happens between Primal MMA’s very own Prakhar Subba from Siliguri and David Chhangte from Hillside MMA, Guwahati. These two have come face to face and already had an altercation in Darjeeling, where Prakhar last fought. Thus, it is safe to say that these two will bring the necessary heat inside the cage and once the door closes, there will be nowhere to run! 

The event’s 10 fights are split into two exciting halves: the prelims and the main event. In between, there will be a short intermission, featuring a special performance by Neetesh Jung Kunwar, before the action heats up in the main event.

The prelims will kick off with the first five matchups:

  2. Jenit Sherchan vs Kritim Shrestha (Flyweight)
  3. Ashish Karki vs Kismat Gautam (Featherweight)

Once the prelims conclude, the main event will raise the stakes with the following thrilling matchups:
